With continued support from the Springboard Charitable Trust, the Society was able to give grants totalling £2,650 to 12 school and university expeditions travelling in 2003 to all corners of the world from Iceland to Tibet. Some 17 applications for support were reviewed in February 2003 by the Expeditions Committee, which awarded grants ranging from £100 to £500.
