With global issues such as climate change and biodiversity looming large, as well as geopolitical concerns surrounding the fate of democracy, environmentalist and author Jonathon Porritt considers whether this moment, early in 2021, is an important 'inflection point' for the human race. But it won't be all doom and gloom; he will also reflect on how we tackle and solve our most pressing challenges, and why there is reason to be hopeful for the year ahead.

Talks begin at 7.30pm; tickets are £5 for RSGS Members, U18s and Students, or £8 for visitors.
