Online event with Charlie Walker, adventurer. An Inspiring People At Home talk from the Royal Scottish Geographical Society.

In early 2019 adventurer Charlie Walker undertook a two-month crossing of the rugged interior of Papua New Guinea by foot and packraft. Travelling via the country’s highest peaks and longest river, it was a challenge that nearly cost him his life on more than one occasion. Expect dense virgin rainforest, monsoon rains, tribal violence, whitewater rapids, and crocodiles in this adventurous talk!

These events will consist of a short, 30-minute film prepared by the speaker, followed by an interactive Q&A.
