In 2012, Leon McCarron walked 3,000 miles across China, from Mongolia to Hong Kong. Seven years on, he returned to walk in the same country but in a very different way; slowly, immersively, and with a clear purpose to design and implement the first long-distance hiking trail in the country. Join Leon as he discusses the philosophy and potential of trails, including how old pathways are repurposed to breathe life into ailing communities.
