Online event with Professor Roger Crofts, former Chair of RSGS. An Inspiring People At Home talk from the Royal Scottish Geographical Society.

Based on research visits to national parks and nature reserves in 30 countries, former RSGS Chair Roger Crofts gives an illustrated tour of these special places, why they exist, and how they are looked after. He takes stock of the big issues – wildlife crime, deforestation, too many tourists – and how to address them, and considers whether we are winning the battle to protect and preserve these vital assets.

These events will consist of a short, 30-minute film prepared by the speaker, followed by an interactive Q&A.
