/// Special Events This Christmas ///

Michael Palin is returning to RSGS for a special online event on Monday 18th January. With tickets now on sale, it's the perfect Christmas gift for anyone geographically inspired...

This side of Christmas we are also thrilled to be hosting Jeremy Bowen, BBC Middle East Editor, and record-breaking adventurer Mollie Hughes, as well as a festive instalment of GeoQuizzical.

To finish up, we are sharing news of our recently launched Climate Solutions Accelerator course, and a special blog by our Writer-in-Residence on the late, great Hamish MacInnes.
An Evening With Jeremy Bowen
Wednesday 16th December, 7.30pm

BBC Middle East Editor, Jeremy Bowen, will share riveting anecdotes from a life reporting on the front line, with insight from dictators, fanatics and fundamentalists, as well as ordinary people caught up in their dangerous exploits. Expect Jeremy to cast a welcome light onto some of the most complex areas of the world.

Recently, Michael also presented a two-part series on North Korea, with an accompanying journal published in 2019. For this online event, the RSGS Livingstone Medallist will focus on his work in North Korea, shedding light on one of the most intriguing and secretive countries in the world.
