What's On Local Groups Glasgow The RSGS Glasgow Group was established in 1884; Henry Morton Stanley gave the first public talk, entitled The Congo. Six of these talks are given on Thursday afternoons at 2.15pm, and six are given on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm. Most are held at The Glasgow Academy. Entry to talks is £3.00.
